Scott Johnson, was born in upstate New York in a small town called Waverly. He now lives on Lake Norman, in Denver North Carolina, he has fronted several bands finally putting together The Scott Johnson Band supported by many of Charlottes best musicians. Although the band line up is pretty consistent, Scott still plays in many different configurations with many of the area's best musicians, including Solo acoustic, Duo Trio, with everything from lap steel players to keyboard, and latin percussion.

Scott completed his first CD last year and had widespread airplay throughout the US hitting number 21 on New Music Weekly's Adult Contemporary list and #71 in FMQB Magazine for his single "Another Trip Around The Sun". The song was on the charts for over 20 weeks. The CD includes contributions from 10 of the finest musicians in Charlotte and spans several different musical styles and genres.
